Savak, c'était le nom des services secrets iraniens du temps du régime du Shah, une organsiation que chacun craignait, aujourd'hui remplaçée par Savama, les services secrets de la république islamique, tout aussi efficaces. Les régimes passent, les moyens restent les mêmes...
Voici donc le troisième album de Savak, un groupe de Brooklyn: une collection chansons post punk/indie qui convoque l'esprit de Wire et de Gang of Four revisité par une bande de musiciens de New York.
