Misty White comes from Pine Bluff, Arkansas. All those who come from there will tell you that it''s hell on earth. And Misty White is an angel. The Devil''s Little Angel, more precisely.
So she moved to Memphis, Midtown, still a minor, attracted by the light of Graceland. There she met Tav Falco and witness the birth of the Panther Burns. She played with them on drums throughout the year 1988. She became friends with Alex Chilton and Townes Van Zandt and toured with them in Germany, still as a drummer. She hung out with Charlie Feathers, Billy Lee Riley, Cordell Jackson. She formed the Chiselers, the Zippin ''Pippins, Alluring Strange, accompanied by her twin sister Kristi. Misty tried to save "Liberty Land" an amusement park to no avail, in which was the favorite ride of Elvis, the famous "Zippin Pippin", a beautiful roller coaster. If she tells you this adventure, her story will end in tears, probably.
She joined Lorette Velvette in the Hellcats, whose album will get 4.5 out of 5 stars by Rolling Stones Magazine.
She appeared in the movie "Great Balls Of Fire" alongside Dennis Quaid as well as "Wayne County Ramblin ''" by Dan Rose.
\r\nShe is currently recording an album at Sam Phillips Recording Service with Roland Janes as a sound engineer.
She is now a sparkling folk singer, with beautiful songs, slices of life with lightning sensitivity, arsonists melodies, and a strong character. She must be seen striking the strings of her guitar, swaying and singing on high heels around her microphone stand. Offering her Memphis sound with a smile and a tear.
Misty White comes from Memphis. In the 80's, she used to play drums and sing with the Hellcats a band signed by the french company, New Rose.
